Miss Makinde, 21, said she asked the driver why the man had been asked to leave - and was told it was because he wouldn't put a printer he was carrying in the storage hold.
She added: 'It's ridiculous. Everyone had luggage with them on the coach, I had bags and my laptop on my seat next to me and nobody said anything about that. 'The coach wasn't even that busy and there were plenty of free seats. It was only when the woman raised her concerns about the man saying she felt uncomfortable that he was asked to leave. 'I understand that drivers want their passengers to feel comfortable. But not if it stems from someone's unfounded and Islamophobic beliefs and at the expense of another paying passenger.' |

Why would you have to travel from Bristol to London for an eye test??. Bristol Eye Hospital is one of the country's leading specialist hospitals. The hospital has 24 ophthalmic consultants, and it's an NHS hospital.

^^^^Not saying that had anything to do with the incident, just wondering.

In the 70s I was refused entry to Hammersmith Palais, with a "FCK off Paddy" shout
one of the doormen knew me from school and that I was born in Ireland and the IRA were at it in london. I hated what The IRA were doing and though annoyed for a minute I actually admired his stance and thought fair enough! We didn't do PC cr@p back then. I went to a dance hall in Fulham instead, I've never recalled the incident until seeing this fred.My advice to the 'student' would be get to fck over yourself. This country has accepted you and I'm sure looked after you, just as it did me. bleating about this sh1t serves no one. |

Scandalous the way that man was treated.
It appears he had made a clock in a suitcase and wanted to carry it around with him. Shows how terrible Britain has become if that was America he would get a trip to the White House and thousands of pounds worth of computer equipment. I wonder who's place he took on that university course and how much you pay this man while he studies. Any chance Britain could extend this paying of students to ordinary working class English people. |

photo update... the photograph of the innocent student who was evicted from the bus by busybody islamophobes, the top one that appears in the Mail website link above, has been denied by the photo mod for some reason.
I am only trying to highlight the poor man's plight! ![]() Have tried again. ![]() |

Anyway, back to the point of this thread.... I wouldn't like it if I was on a coach/train/plane and this bloke also got on carrying electronic equipment.
Nowt to do with bigotry/stereotyping. Some people bring things upon themselves |

Some people will complain it was perfectly OK to go round a supermarket waving knives about and sticking 80 year old men, whatever is the UK coming to ? I travelled on a national express bus from the north east to manchester and three families of immigrants came on in Leeds and Manchester coughing and spluttering their lives away,no sign of covering their mouths up at all.Never again,I was ill for weeks afterwards, often wonder how TB came back in fashion ? People on that bus were entitled to express their doubts.

A pal of mine went to the Newcastle match on sunday and claims three hefty asian men entered via the turnstyle ahead of him carrying rucksacks on their back and weren't challenged. He has contacted the club who said there were instructions to check the contents of ANY bag taken into the ground and will enquire into it. Would he have been criticised for challenging them after what happened in paris,is that what we fought WW2 for ?
