Headline breaking news on Sky News.
Newsreader just passed it over with one sentence after the storm headline on BBC. Man stabbed. Attacker arrested. Syria not mentioned. How do the BBC keep getting away with it? |

3 stabbed.... 1 seriously.... "This is for Syria" an audio tape just released on radio5...shocking

Just saw phone footage of the police with the plonker face down, and some woman seems to be trying to get involved and pushed back. What is she thinking?
The probem is that it doesn't take much for a nutter to hurt innocent people. I wonder if any British person ever stabbed someone in 1941 shouting "this is for Tobruk", and if not, what's changed? Perhaps the BBC could explain it to us. |

"Actually this is for Lybia" whould be a better example, given that despite what stupid people think, it's not syria we're attacking, it's bad people who happen to be there..

Surprisingly the Guardian did mention the Syria bit.

A stabbing at a Tube station in east London is being treated as a "terrorist incident", the Met Police has said.
Police were called to reports of people being attacked at Leytonstone station just after 19:00 GMT. A man was arrested after being Tasered by police. One man suffered serious knife injuries while two others received minor injuries. Detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Counter-Terrorism Command are now investigating the incident. The Met said the suspect was reportedly threatening other people with a knife. |

bbc reporting it as a terrorist attack.
|
|
By:
What will be interesting here will be if this attack is defined as a terrorist incident, him charged on terrorist related charges and then sentenced in court as such, will the politicians then tell us 'no no it can't be due to our actions it must be more cryptic than that'?

nailed on care in the community with a 3 inch blade ....terrorist attack wtf
|

Problem is every nutter in the country who does something like this will now apparently have become a terrorist according to the news.
|
|
By:
But the difference will be in the judicial approach.
If it's terrorism and the defence council cites reasons as 'because of Syria' (or whatever it is he's saying) then will the politicians take it upon themselves to determine the real causation themselves and not the court? |

By:
spin will depend if he is muslim immigrant or british born or white etc
|
|
By:
was he a highly trained, highly skilled trained in raqqa with a engineered plan signed off by isis warlords,or a random nutter
|
|
By:
must be the former as our security people dont think it possible to mount an attack without spending 6 months training in raqqa, although 3 or 4 people a week around the world are trying their best to prove they havnt got a chucking clue about whats going on,

Likely another false flag to rally public support for the bombings.

Likely another false flag to rally public support for the bombings.
Unless it's a false flag to rally opposition to the bombings on the grounds it will stir up homicidal maniacs with easy access to kitchen knives to undertake "revenge" attacks, as some politicians feared would happen. |
|
By:
Either this guy was a nutter who simply used Syria as an excuse and will therefore be tried under normal law.
Or it's a terrorist offence and he will be tried under terrorism acts. If it's the latter then there's a problem which I suspect will result in closed court proceedings and a court order to stifle information about the case being released. The last thing politicians want is for a judge to determine guilt based on the actions of the state, and not infact a desire for a caliphate in Britain. It would ofc be very suspect then if it's a closed court based on a nutter who stabs and utters remarks about the decisions taken by politicians. |
|
By:
'In the footage of the attack and aftermath, a bystander can be heard shouting 'you ain't no Muslim bruv' at the attacker -
a defiant rallying cry which has now begun trending on social media.' |

Just as every nutter contemplating a random piece of aggression will be because he hates arabs or is an ISIS sympathiser to justify it to themselves.Nutters still exist during normal times (???). |
