I have 1000s of MP3 songs on my PC in the office and I would like to play them through my cinema surround system in the living room, rather than fanny about with CDs - or maybe even on my mini hifi system in the bedroom. A friend suggested I get a bluetooth adaptor and that would do the job...

Is there anything in particular I need to buy, I see there are so many.

And do my systems need to have any tech specs? Is the distance a problem...10-12m

thanks

Don't know about bluetooth tbh, I copied my MP3's (about 150GB) straight onto my freeview recorders' hard drive and play them through my HiFi via the speaker outputs. You can also just plug an external hard drive straight into your TV (most new TV's have an MP3 music player interface with library and album cover display etc) and play them that way through your surround system.  I chose my freeview recorder because it has a better interface.
