All milk is skimmed, then added back with the requisite amount of cream.

I've been on semi-skimmed for years having tried skimmed which is like grey water.

Went to get some from a certain supermarket, and no semi skimmed in stock, so got the "Whole Milk".

Best decision ever, as it isn't as I expected, with a modicum amount of cream, separated on the top, like we used to have in the delivered bottles,
and which I never liked, despite much shaking (not of me but of the bottle)!

Obviously it's another con, by them ripping off the cream for other dairy products...e.g. cream and butter!

So "Whole Milk" is not such at all!

Could that be worth a multi million pound law suit against "Arla Dairies"  inter alia, for mis describing a product?

According to a documentary I watched, since the 50's when Consolidated Dairies Ltd took control of the market, it's been downhill ever since.

Blame the sparrows... if they hadn't kept dipping their beaks into the silver tops on the doorstep to get the cream this would never have happened.

Just as I thought... AP, and his milk bottle shaking ilk, have a lot to answer for. Mischief

Monitoring suggests a severe decline in the UK house sparrow population, recently estimated as dropping by 71 per cent between 1977 and 2008.

House sparrows are not able to get into newly built houses.....thus the decline.
