Just got the embargoed copy of the ComRes IoS/S Mirror online poll & it's a cracker. 2 politicians doing very badly. Details at 1930 |
By:
Do you think it will boil down to Johnson v May for the leadership?
By:
may could do it
By:
40% told ComRes online poll that LAB MPs should oust Corbyn.
who would of guessed ![]() |
By:
The other 60% must have been Tories.
![]() |
By:
Westminster voting intention:
CON: 42% (-) LAB: 27% (-2) UKIP: 15% (+2) LDEM: 7% (-) GRN: 3% (-) (via ComRes / 18 - 20 Nov) |
By:
"We have to accept infringements of privacy on the internet for the sake of fighting terrorism":
Agree: 70% Disagree: 17% (ComRes 18-20 Nov) |
By:
Of UK politicians George Osborne, on minus 19%, has the 2nd worse favourability ratings

I watched corbyn on the box today - he justs sounds real and the rest poseurs, placemen and money grabbers. Not sure about some of the policies but their is an honesty about the bloke. Look at that bloke with the ears - who dodged out of the leadership race - whats his name ommuna (Labour) or something - what a classic suit he is along with the rest of the tories and labour stooges
just saying |
By:
there is an honesty
By:
He's less than honest about some of his previous uttering. Airbrushing them for popularity it would seem.
By:
with out a doubt aka
but he don't arf sound like a bloke you can get on with and argue a point not like these suits who have dominated the party for 35 years and sold the party to capital |
By:
There is no doubting Corbyn's honesty and sincerity.
The problem is, he is totally out of touch with the vast majority of this country. |
By:
they havent answered a question in 35 years hahahahhah
By:
does that matter that he is ... but is he ... who tells you these things ... when the press is dominated by capital owning organisations dead set against any part of the population having any control
any idea of social involvement, let alone control, by the people in your street is anathama to them |
By:
corbyn is a brilliant constituency MP
By:
ps have you got an alternative
By:
By:
You make a good point but he doesn't help himself when he states that he's not happy with there being a "shoot to kill" policy for rampaging terrorists or worrying whether jihadi John was lawfully killed.
By:
I have zero trust shadow chancellor donnelly
By:
John Donnolly is even worse with his backtracking. Now he deffo would be suited to selling second hand cars.
By:
couldn't agree more
but then you see when you go into a house tooled up and some guy gets up from the table, knife in hand, surrounded by victims young and old and so you shoot him what could be wrong? subsequently when after 9 years a public enquiry finds out it was grandad carving the sunday joint and half a dozen armed men burst into his dining room and he sought to defend his children................. they got the wrong fkn house (this has never happened - well only just last week actually) do you now see corbyn's point you need to understand that it is fraught with difficulties when using the military in a domestic situation - most people are unaware of the training we receive and is not suited to the domestic/peaceful/social/civilian situation. As soon as you introduce weapons .................... |
By:
The problem is these guys said lots of controversial things in the past but now they smell a wee bit of power, not to mention cash, they are trying to put a different spin on it.
By:
do you now see corbyn's point
Well no actually I don't. Quite a poor analogy tbh. |
By:
I am a shoot to kill version. However, having some knowledge of this you have to understand putting live ammo into the hands of young jumpy men who are not controlled properly and thing they know best is not a good idea. Ncos of experience and knowledge etc are a better example but many of the outfits I am aware of are not of the most, shall we say, thoughtful about their actions.!!
By:
your refutation makes me even more certain of what i am saying and maybe what corbyn is saying - if only you knew aka - there are going to be a lot of trigger happy young men in paris for certain - listen and learn
carefull controlled aggressive progress against violent islam is necessary but don't go shooting the wrong people and don't go metaphorically shooting the messenger. Diving in straight away can end with you getting a headache when you find out it is a shallow pool |
By:
I am sorry but there have been many raids on houses that have been the wrong house!! If you start at the wrong house and start with suppression support then someone reacts so you shoot them where does that leave you/ Ie you in your own bed and you think wtf and react EEhh!!?? think about it!!??
By:
The point being put to Corbyn was one of a terrorist scenario similar to what happened in Paris not the picture you are trying to paint.
By:
if only you knew aka
Comments like that always make me laugh. |
By:
Get an ex regiment guy on here and he will explain it to you. Or preferably a more modern one than me. Look what has happened to those poor fkrs who have been dragged back 30 plus years to Ireland!!!! Now soon to be on trial but put there by scabby politicoes.
By:
you haven't a clue about what the ops orders are around situations like these
By:
I think he is exactly right about paris
I believe an innocent was killed sat in his own flat 5000 rounds sounds like the people involved hadn't a clue what they were doing it sounds more like suppressive fire on a ww11 battlefield a stealthy approach usually beats and over aggressive one but what do I know |
By:
the police were caught out were largely poorly armed
follow up seems to have been poorly coordinated but then in a dreadful scenario that is totally out of control no one has a clue what has happened it is OUT OF CONTROL |

you haven't a clue about what the ops orders are around situations like these I've as much of a clue as you. I have enough ex regiment guys in my family to know the script. 5000 rounds sounds like the people involved hadn't a clue what they were doing You do know who was advising them on that attack don't you? |
By:
if you know that then you know corbyn is right
you don't shoot anyone unless you are ordered to or you will end up on a charge i am not sure who was telling the paras but I do know it was out of control in Paris |
