Town centre got everything for a couple.
Princes St got great shopping for the women whilst Rose St (actually a lane) which runs parallel to it has one great pub after another to keep the men happy whilst you shop. Grin

Thanks, Aka, but you will have to sell it differently to me.

We both dislike shopping and pubs Blush
Report boxingthefox • November 20, 2015 2:13 PM GMT
Hi MD Love You should not shop in pubs it's all stolen gear on offer. Happy

Hi Boxing! Love

Haven't seen you around for a while. Nice to see you back.

BB, Annie and Crisp have reappeared this week, too.

It's like the Twilight Zone. Had you all been captured by Aliens? Scared

Hope you are feeling better btf, I've been to Scottieland many times and Edinburgh is indeed rater lovely, I wasn't overly keen on Glasgow though. The Highlands are simply stunning, I would highly recommend spending a few days having a look around.
Report Makybe_Diva • November 20, 2015 3:47 PM GMT

Hi slippy, thanks for your good wishes, you too MD, a virus attacked my heart 2 1/2 years ago, I'm now medicated up to the eyeballs!! to keep it running, it plays up every now and then. I sailed around the western isles (as a passenger) with a mate, It was fantastic, Agree with you about Glasgow, it looks great in a rear view mirror Laugh The Kyles of Bute are stunning.

JH has a fabulous voice - could have run Adele and Winehouse close. She must have lacked the killer instinct/insane ambition.

Edinburgh is a very nice place for many reasons. Good food. Plenty of culture. The Western Highlands where I used to live are beautiful. Caithness where I now live has a rugged beauty of its own.I'd advise anyone brave enough to come north of Hadrians Wall to keep going well past Perth. It's worth it.
