I remember about 1980 the video stores opening up - choice of Kramer vs Kramer and the jazz singer with Neil Diamond one night - desperate stuff. This opened up a revenue stream for the movie studios. Previously they had to make their money at the cinemas. Now they tell us that they might not be able to make movies coz we is all downloading for free. (B o l l o k s). Avatar made billions. Bond is a certainty. Superhero films.... loads o monee. all their main cash still rolls in from the cinema. DVD/Blueray sales are pure profit on top. Link their films with products like iphones. Billions are being made. I'm crying myself to sleep at night thinking they might not be able to make iron man 5 in the future.
450,000 films have been made so far. Enough to watch till the end of time. I don't care if they make anything else. Can't possibly watch it all as it stands.
