I'd imagine that most of us would agree that such a refusal is petty, stupid and very mean spirited but especially given recent events one would have thought that a little common sense would be called for. Some may even question why the police would even get involved?
From what I gather she posted a facebook message to say that in response to what happened she didn't want Muslims in her hairdressers. A bit silly really. But silly certainly in this case shouldn't lead to your collar being felt. Of course as with all things there may be more to it but even so I doubt it plumbs the depths of the people cheering, whooping and some awful comments because someone lady taking part in a drag hunt fell off her horse and died as a result of head injuries.

Came across this. I think she's a bit of a nutter.
After her post was torn apart by Facebook users, 43-year-old Major attempted to defend her stance.
Another post read: ”Those that want to call me a racialist, think on.
“My life is with ragga and patowoire language with Trinidad.[sic]”
After offering anyone who had a problem with her to pay her a visit, she is then said to have posted to haters: “I hope your family gets blown up by ISIS.”
After the post drew complaints, Thames Valley Police arrested her for questioning.
A police statement said: “We have arrested a 43-year-old woman in Bicester today after a number of complaints about a racially abusive post on social media

The police keep telling us they are strapped for cash and are being forced to make cutbacks left right and centre, yet they can still find time to pursue trivial stuff like this.
Which strengthens the government's argument that the police do indeed have plenty of room to make cutbacks in their staffing levels.

Fair point Crips. She made the mistake of gobbing off online and the rozzers were right round to feel her collar. She'd have been better burgling em. They'd have just given them a crime number for their insurance.

Bear in mind she would also have been arrested if she had refused to cut anybody's hair on the grounds of race or colour
Also if they were Gay
It appears we do not have anything lie as much freedom as we think we do

Yet if the hairdressers employed a male member of staff or, perish the thought, a gay male member of staff, presumably a Moslem lady could refuse to have her hair cut and styled by him.
The law is an ass when it seeks to treat and punish people differently.

I think she takes of her head thing and at the same time the hairdresser has to close her eyes. The hairdresser cuts away merrily, eyes closed. Sometimes the hairdresser will take off a bit of ear by mistake, sometimes a full ear, but we never know.
This head covering thing is done for good reason, like all religious customs.
They're not daft, these mussies - think of everything, they do.

Wasn't the cleverest of things to do and she compounded it by posting her address and inviting anyone who disagreed with her to visit and say so to her face. Why make yourself a target?

slow thinker this hairdresser, obvious answer would be to proceed with the operation, remove the head covering, then amongst all the hairdressing small talk casually mention she is a pre-op transgender man, then when the customer leaps out of her seat and grasps for her head covering simply call the cops and the perpetrator will be locked up in no time.

Enoch Powell once went for a haircut to the House of Commons barber who was a talkative chap by all accounts.
"How do you want it cut, sir?" said the barber
"In silence!" said Powell.
