Yes, but what you didn't include in the report was that she'd gone out to sh@g the guy next door ... and then gone shopping for a new dress.
Christ, why did she want to waste money on a new dress. No wonder he was angry. |

Teetop ...
Thanks for the enlightenment. I lived in Tehran in the late 70s (before the US abandoned the Shah - idiots) and none of the Iranian ladies offered me any "comfort". Some wore chadors (full length black curtains also covering hair and head). Mate reckoned all they had on underneath was stockings and suspenders ... but I think he was only guessing??? |

I heard that too from arab colleahues in saudi, the daring ones used to enjoy the risk of being stopped by the religious police ! Always wanted to go to Iran but the revolution stopped me when I ws short listed. A great city they all said, those who moved onto Suadi in 1979.

I lived in Tehran in 2005 working for AGIP ...some of the Iranian women are very beautiful, cocking a snook at the religious Police they'd wear a big shock of hair out of the front of their hijab and plaster masses of make up on. Yes ...some women are available but whilst I was there - they hung five guys in the local square reputedly Rapists and drug dealers.

Should add - they (rapists and drug dealers) ...were hung tied to the jib of a crane.

Ah, the ability of a medieval religion that can update its techniques to incorporate the very modern technology that it despises ! Hypocrites ?
