In early 1987 the TUBE made a spoof of the 1960s Prisoner TV programme, where Jools Holland resigns and ends up in Portmeirion, and Stephen Fry is 'Number 2'. Two bands were there and filmed – XTC, playing The Man Who Sailed Around His Soul and Siouxsie and the Banshees, who perform The Passenger. I think this is the one you might be referring to and why there appear to be two videos – the other is the video proper with Siouxsie, Severin and Budgie.

Budgie was also on the sticks for John Grant on Jools Holland last month, seaside dreamer. And he wasn't disappointing
