That sounds a good offer
I would recommend anyone in Dunfermline taking that

For people not in Dunfermline, one has to take into account travelling accommodation, also tax
you may then find the hourly rate it is not worth taking

I have a friend in this position, he wants to work(unskilled unfortunately), but all that he can find
are really grotty jobs, and when you take into a/c things like travelling and tax the hourly rate is disgusting
and he has a wife to support who gets no money herself

I do not believe our society needs to be this hard. We can support more public workers, and immigration well
this is madness...although the Tories don't mind because they don't class the as poor human beings, they only govern for the rich

I oppose them completely

Someone wanting to work hard for 6 weeks would no doubt do quite well out of it.

How many people there are out there that are willing to do that?

Benefits system has created too much weighting up the pros and cons of jobs of unskilled jobs as discussed above.

So instead of supporting his wife in the best way he can he makes a conscious choice to ponce off the state. Does this enrich him spiritually, is he unhappy at his lot or just going with the flow of his life?

AN AMERICAN minister and street pastor went undercover at Amazon’s delivery centre in Fife to look into claims of poor working conditions.

Tim McKinney, originally from Arizona, said was “appalled” by a culture of “fear and intimidation” at the U.S.-owned facility in Dunfermline which left him “ashamed” to be an American.

Former construction company owner Mr McKinney (59), of Pro-Vita Ministries, said, “I was appalled and ashamed to see how this American company treated the Scottish workers. I had heard the stories and I found them to be true.

“The attitude of the workers there was ‘keep your head down and watch your back’. For example, there was a guy who had worked there for a while and he was getting some water.

“I was talking to him when a supervisor came up and this guy ran out like a scared rabbit. I was thinking ‘That’s a grown man and he’s running from the girl?’” Amazon's giant facility - the size of 14 football pitches - was officially opened by First Minister Alex Salmond in 2011 with the support of millions of pounds of Scottish Government funding.

However, from the start there have been concerns about the company’s track record on workers’ rights and conditions leading to protests outside the site by the GMB union with allegations of “exploitation” and a “Victorian” attitude to the workforce.

The American even thinks the UK staff are treated bad , fck me this must be a bad gig

Used to work at a place and there was a famous story of two warehouse operatives (man and woman) who were sacked for having sex while at work.

The Warehouse Manager described it as a case of Picker Poking Packer.
