To be serious for a mo, i don't think for one minute he is going to escalate things in Syria. Even though most Yank journos think he will.
He well remembers what happened in Afghanistan in the 90's. I just think their Federal Assembly will block him. But i do hope i'm wrong and he goes after them with Cossacks swinging their shashkas at every ISIS bastard. But no doubt it will be drones..
don't forget he shat on the (largely Islamic) Chechnyans after the moscow theatre attack, although there was geopolitical history there tbf.
