Haven't seen many poppy wearers at all this year.
What I do remember were those who wore a double one and, worst of all, those that wore ones in silk or some material masquerading as such! The lady director, of a company I dealt with, had a massive one on the front of her TVR Tuscan! The thing is that she has it as a permanent appendage! |

Whenever I see somebody with a sparkly jewel poppy, I always think "buy a proper paper one from outside Tesco like everyone else you knob."

Watching the TV you would think everyone is wearing one. In real life, no more than 10% and I reckon I'm being optimitstic with that level.

What's far worse than a posh poppy is the posh poppy being used politically : The SNP cretins who wear one with a *****g Scottish flag round it. They can't do anything without sticking their nationalist crud into it, they've just no class. It has "we respect the war dead, but just OURS" all over it.
