Peeping Tom on moon given telescope

A PERVERTED old man living in a crater on the moon is given a telescope to spy on couples having sex in John Lewis’s Christmas advert.

The heart-warming advert, in which a little girl helps a lonely voyeur 238,900 miles from his nearest dogging site find joy again, has already been hailed as “the true meaning of Christmas”.

A John Lewis spokesman said: “Christmas is a time for thinking of others, so spare a thought for the dirty old man on your street whose only sexual gratification will be stuffing his turkey.

“Don’t close the curtains when you get undressed this season. Don’t turn off your hacked webcam before sex, and if someone’s rubbing up against you on the bus let them.

“It’s a gift that costs literally nothing to give but could mean the world to someone spending Christmas alone.”

The advert, which ends with a fast zoom out from the moon to the sound of unzipping and a cackle of filthy laughter, has already doubled sales of telescopes, night-vision goggles and telephoto lenses.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why Britain's become the sh!thole it is.

Vomit-making in the extreme.

At least they have kept with the Christmas tradition of getting a whiny voiced karaoke singer
to balladise an old classic.

I think advertising should be a catalog in the corner.
if you are in the market to make a purchase, look through the catalog to see whats available.
Not bloody insidious marketing everywhere you turn, manipulative sales tactic and rampant opportunism.
If it aint cars fitted with 'defeat devices' its youtube product placement or tv adverts with toothpaste 'technology'
The amount of leaflets that the poor postie has to lumber around each day just because enterprise were allowed to ride feckin bareback through society pushing its crap is unreal.

Not to mention inbuilt obsolescence and product life cycles that last around 3-6 months at best now.
Each company developing slightly different connectors etc so nothing is compatible.
Choice my arse, you have to take a week off to read through all the speel and compare like for like if you make a decent size purchase in anything
and have to have a lawyer at hand to work out all the TCs on the 'offers'

I think this year's ad is nonsense. As was last year's (penguins).

I did however really like the snowmen one to The Power Of Love.

Some obviously foolish people are claiming that the man on the moon is in fact a hoax. I recently overheard some buffoons in the boozer discussing that the commercial was filmed in area 51.

The subtext is that a young girl found an old man in her bedroom late one night. The man said he had come in to bring her some presents and it was ok, her mum and dad knew he would be coming.

He then produces a signed note to him listing the things she would like brought to her in her bedroom.

She screams and he dashes out.

Apparently the police who were assigned to find poor Maddie are now looking for him ... described as an elderly man, wearing a red gown, hood and a false beard.

Police busy following up leads in Barbados, Maldives and Bahamas.

Meanwhile, little girl reports she has seen him out of her bedroom window ... but Police report it as a case of a mistaken identity, and they need to pursue leads in ... Barbados, Maldives and Barbados.
They also dismissed sightings in Cleethorpes as being "wide of the mark".

Well you could just as likely have the same sentiment about distance from reality by homing the telescope at a selective region called Chipping Norton.....

John Lewis have run the ad in conjunction with Age UK.
The point of the ad is to highlight loneliness in the elderly in this country.

Indeed, although it's "just an ad", the whole premise is flawed.

Would've made more sense if he was across the road.

John Lewis eclipsed by Warburtons Crumpets.

That wasn't half bad.

Your right, it was all bad.
