Do wah diddy, gone gone gone
I miss his take on life, sadly missed, but not forgotten.

What I could never understand is that, apparently, he was a succesfull on course bookmaker until he took an inevitable loss,
and then gave it up!
I wonder if like Slippy Blue, his absence from the forum is due to time taken up
by a new flame?

Indeed my absence from the forum HH is finding the true love of my entire kife and after over 40 years of being a gambler I have pretty much lost interest in horse racing which was an all consuming passion for me all my life. I have other priorities now and amazingly enough I don't miss it that much although I still go to tracks like Plumpton for a day out but don't do the daily grind anymore, not even placepots. If you could see the future Mrs. Blue you would completely understand the change in my world I do pop in to view the forum though every now and then but not that often these days.
