the work ethic is the last corner of fasicm in the country that hasn't been swept away. Laziness is up there with being a child molester.
If someone is on benefits they make a tv show to see all their vices.
While up stairs they cream off the gold,art and land to escape to swizz land.
I was unemployed for years and it's bloody hard work. You don't get to sit on yer hands. The helpful people at the jobcentre? have their devious ploys to hamper you. sanctions. intimidation. threats. misdirection. tie you up with red tape and bogus time wasting courses.
I spent thirteen weeks on one course that had no practical job prospects.
I was sent out to an employer to do work for no pay - job experience? I was forty at the time, i had experienced work? one of the other workers had a lung condition and was working in frosty conditions.
At that time i had the lowest carbon footprint you'll find in this country... no holidays(jets). no car(burning petrol) no nothing. So I was saving the planet being unemployed.

It is disgusting the way we treat the unemployed, it is not there fault if there is no work
The government should try creating work instead of unemployment Having seen how the unemployed are treated I now see the benefits of Communism |

They are attacking the indigenous social welfare recipients whilst scouring the globe to import the sick and unemployed of the world,its mad literally mad.
Social welfare should only be for people born in Britain,it should never be for the gentlemen that break all your laws and turn up with an outstretched hand from day one. |

This was the bi-product of the industrial revolution which lead to factories replacing cottage industry and people became minions waged against the clock.
Capitalism took hold and the whole purpose of being for most were to provide profits for others. The raison d'etat of all capitalist nations to compete against one another, so the workforce has to be whipped to keep up. If you are clever enough to escape then you are fortunate, but greed has a nasty way of creating its own problem as the escapees then tend to seek to punish others into servitude so they can have more. Its like H.G.Wells's The Time Machine where the eloi get farmed for the cause. |

Whenever I see that oinker Cameron on telly I often think to myself who the hell would do his job?
The slimy maggots with no soul telling lies daily to further a cause and the measure of his wage is often used as some kind of yardstick to compare against other. He is on decent enough money, but the job description and long hours make it a 5hit job for me. Id rather be on the assembly line and be able to sleep at night. |

The problem with the benefits system is that there is enough money to help those who need help and are entitled to it.
Unfortunately there are huge numbers from other countries coming here with their hand out getting free houses, interpreters, claiming sick benefit and who can never work as they cannot speak English or even basic English. Councils fall over themselves to give them everything. I mean child benefit for kids who have never even stepped foot in Britain! Yet people who have worked hard, lose their job and fall on hard times etc get next to nothing. How is that fair? Watching the TV show "Carnt pay we'll take it away" and even there the high court baliff said a single male of working age would get F all from the council. No benefits should be paid to any foreign person if they have not paid tax into the system for at least 5 years. |

I seen a show on tv where a woman didn`t pay her £50 parking ticket. When the debt collector chapped her door the debt had escalated to £700. If the woman wasn`t able to pay the £50, htf can she be expected to pay £700. They ended up taking her belongings to recover the £700 debt. She would have been better off if she had owed £50,000 and she could have just declared herself bankrupt like the rich do. Absolute disgrace. They wouldn`t get away with that in Scotland. Years ago they had warrant sales, but not any more. The country rebelled against such drastic actions and warrant sales became defunct by Scottish Law.

When we were young, there was so many job opportunities for young people and so many trades available. Tories destroyed UK heavy industry and the only jobs available nowadays are in call centres, sales, charity shops or debt collecting.

How the feck could she afford a car if she can't pay a £50 fine. My sympathy is with people chasing debts rather than people avoiding paying them.

There is a big difference between people who have money and won`t pay their debts and people who simply can`t pay. Companies throw credit cards at people and they run up debts they can`t pay. I know a woman who has been repaying a credit card making minimum payment each month and the debt decreases by 75p each month. She`ll be repaying them for the rest of her life.

the eton toffs were supposed to be worried sick about the future of our kids and grandkids leaving a credit timebomb for them to defuse,all the toffs have done is make credit easier to get with artificaly low interest rates ,caused a house price boom and the debt they were so worried about leaving our grandkids theyve managed to double,on paper one might think they.ve been an absolute,complete failure,but thar ya go
