Have to admit that I still have this wonder of early eighties technology, just sitting here as a piece of "furniture".
I remember, way back then, having a meeting with our extremely Jewish solicitor, who expounded on the virtues of his, and how it totally changed communication as people expected instant response, rather than the usual seven days from letters!, I guess he was very correct, at the time, and I must bin mine without delay! |

Mine is so old that the paper is on rolls!
Isn't it ridiculous what we paid for stuff back then, and thought it was ok? I still have my PANASONIC NV-F70 HQ VCR which succeeded my Sony C7 Betamax. Could be wrong, and trying to research, but I think I shelled out £627.00 in the late 80s without even thinking it was ludicrous! |

Many companies have fax machines, but they have largely been superseded by scanners & pdf format files. I'd think that most photocopiers contain a scanner & fax.

I would assume so MMM. Sent quite a few in my day but have no use for it now. Software was free (if memory serves). I just sent a fax from my PC, down the phoneline and wherever it had to go
