Misriat Band - Another Brick in the wall.
I came accross this on Youtube - a really haunting cover ...OK they'll never be Pink Floyd but I liked it...it's different.
It's normally in "D" Minor ...but they seem to be playing it somewhere near "D" Minor sharp ????
Have a listen ....see if you like it ?

Not really such a thing as a D minor sharp, I can play along in d minor and it's fine, the Dm, G, F and C chords are still there, I think it's the scale used over the chords, maybe Phrygian?? try #4th, b6th, I'm no expert.

I'm an Ex-Guitar Shop owner (famous shop) now retired ...and still build guitars - so have very accurate
Tuners etc ...and the tuning (or out of tune) is just over "D" ???
Or maybe it's some sort of arabic instrument tuning (?) ...anyway intresting cover !
RockinRon and the Inmates !
PS: I have very special Fender Strat. "Blackie" but mines signed to me personally by Eric himself.
Pic is on my facebook page.

You'd know better than me, my musical ear is terrible, I normally tune my guitars slightly sharp anyway so that's probably why it sounds ok.  The actual guitar solo sounds like a normal scale.

The whole lot is tuned ever so slightly higher...as you say chords are quite simple (Dm,G,F and C etc)based around the Dm Pentatonic scale - but to give them credit ...I quite liked it.
Anyway ....thanks for your interest - it's always good to chat to another musician !
