i'm chasing up a pair of classic reeboks on ebay - tried the sports shop and they are taking the p. strange designs and glass beeds in the heels. Can't some sweat shop somewhere just do a good copy of the classic reebok. they'd make a fortune. they put a dip in the heel that digs into your tendons? laces that don't grip and loosen after a few hundred yards. Weird that they are getting so bad.

Rockport went bad imo ,fall to bits in no time now ,maybe got a dodgy pair ,expect more than 18 months for 150 ,dont see many people wearing them now , did like me ports 20 years ago

Maybe was bad pair mine are 18 months old and look like new.
I had a pair for work many years ago was the best shoes ever worn they stopped that style though. |

In fairness got a pair of clarkes boots too and they are lasting just as well and wear them more.
So prob better value. |

Yea had a brilliant of ports and agree the most comfy boot a ever wore ,they shaped to my feet like nothing before or after and lasted nearly a decade ,bought another pair and they disintegrated within 18 months ,believe there was known issues with the quality and they did get dropped by many retailers ,was for working but once you wear boots you tend to feel barefoot in anything else .

Seems any decent robust walking shoes these days have to have a raised tab on the heel which chafes and digs the achilles tendon, why? I have to cut them off but that shortens the life of the shoe.
