Eating just fruit sounds great - it's all natural but you'll be lucky not to get diabetes. veggies better for you. Sugar of any discription is dealt with the pancreas. If you eat too much the pancreas burns out and you either go diabetic or end up like Steve Jobs(fruiterian).
please remember there's a lot of natural food which is lethal. Scotch eggs are safe?
my favourite food story is about marines stranded on an island during the war and all they could eat was pineapples. the enzymes/acids in the pineapples rotted their gums and all their teeth came out.

Plenty of fruits fairly low in sugar. I have berries every morning, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries usually. Gets 3 of the 5 out of the way. Then a couple of pints of fruit flavoured beer to complete the set.
But you're right. Generally veg is better if you're cutting down on sugar.

I know someone who eats only raw, mostly fruit. She is almost fanatical about it, its her religion. She's the same age as me but with twice as much energy and has never felt better me .....I put it down to her being mental.
What bothers me is that fruit AND vegetables are getting sweeter year by year. They are bred to get sweeter! Soon you will need special contacts or grow some yourself to get fruit with a sugar content of less than ten percent
Read a while ago that a zoo had stopped feeding bananas to monkeys. The bananas gave them dental problems! The bananas that can be found in the wild are not at all as sweet and do not give monkeys dental problems...
