while I was seeing the solicitor at 10 a.m. I was burgled '''I left a window unlocked ,two laptop computers were taken .I called the police a day later but there was no result .if you make an appointment to see someone don't give your name and address , make sure everywhere is locked and if possible leave someone at home .also conceal anything of any value .in other words did the solicitor tell the burglar I would be out at that time .personally I would say so . I arrived ten minutes early and the solicictor was there, but waited until 10 o'clock to see me ,so I would not interefere with the burglar I would say . in the future I shall be much more careful .

Thanks for paying attention HH.

For those that missed it, I bought a house that had stood empty for two years.

Bought as a repo from a building society, because the previous accountant owner was in the slammer, for doing naughty things.

Guy in my village introduced me to target pistol shooting, and we went together twice a week until I moved away.

Just a few years later he was in "The High Court", together with a solicitor, an estate agent and an accountant, on a massive fraud charge.

Yup..agreed.

Have to ask if said solicitor was party to this, how could he assume that there would be nobody else at the property?
