Never heard of him so googled.
Listened to State of the Union and Song for the Road. Not a bad voice but couldn't listen to much of him without anti-depressants. |

David Ford is a brilliant performer. Seen him lots of times and off to see him again Saturday. He's not at all depressing to listen to either.
Many different people have been with me to see him and they've all loved him. One of our most underrated artists. |

asparagus those 2 songs I listed depressed me.
Can you point me in the direction of something a bit more upbeat. |

Akabula, you could try 'Pour A little poison' 'perfect soul' and 'Medicine show' if you want upbeat tracks. 'Every time' is worth a listen too though i wouldn't call it upbeat. It's just a good song.
Here's 'Medicine show' - it's got a long intro so if you want to avoid that go to about 5 minutes in though part of his charm for me is live and the interaction with the audience and explanation of the songs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuDAANgw0eQ And here is a live version of 'every time'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikdJVSL26Sc |
