The fact Bill was shot dead outside his home by Police a few months after 9/11 in dubious circumstances only serves to enforce the value of his words.

A few weeks prior to 911 I flew from London to New York for a short vacation.  As we approached the airport, instead of beginning his descent the pilot circled around and headed north once more.  After a third or fourth such manoeuvre I began to sweat a bit, I'm not a great flier at the best of times and started worrying about the passenger jet that had ran out of fuel circling JFK ten or so years before.

It was reported on the news that the delay was caused by a terrorist alert, the intelligence services believing that multiple New York bound aircraft were under threat of hijack and destined to be flown into the city's skyscrapers.  It was also alleged that a cell linked to the Columbine massacre was thought to be behind the plot.  After the atrocities of September 11th, however, nothing at all was mentioned about this scare barely a month beforehand.  In fact, the official stance was that the attack was totally unpredictable.

no mention of 9/11 in that clip, just that the USA or Israel was going to be attacked...the equivalent of predicting the sun is coming up soon.
