Stephen Fry is to step down as the host of BBC Two comedy quiz show QI after 13 years.
The presenter said it was "one of the best jobs on television" but felt "it was time to move on".
He will be replaced by Sandi Toksvig, who called it her "dream job". She stood down as chair of BBC Radio Four's The News Quiz earlier this year after a 10-year run.
Alan Davies will remain as resident panellist.

Love that programme, and Toksvig is not without talent but it won’t be anywhere near as good now. Why the fk didn’t they give David Mitchell the gig – a blindingly obvious choice imo, if he wanted it.

Oh no, I like Fry, QI is worth a watch, but toksvig .. well I wasn't a fan anyway but she was on Question Time the other week and from what I remember was really irritating. Kind of like Polly Toynbee stuffed into a bikers jacket.
