what were the circumstances?
Mememe ... worked with a guy (Jim Gunn) and he was hopeless - we just had to let him go! (only joking)
.22 rifle in school range while in cadet force, nice, bang and no recoil ... then .303 on awayday to army base ... helluva bang, big thump in shoulder ... ouch, recoil knocked me back 6 inches
Army sergeat then gave a demo of a sten gun ... wow, wanted one ever since!
and a few shotguns ... for girls really but wouldn't want one pointing at me
