Good afternoon.

Is it easily possible to record a lecture, freely available on Youtube, as an MP3 or MPEG audio file so I can listen to it in the car?  Any advice greatly appreciated.

Damn!  It didn't work because the video is 100 minutes in length and the software only supports clips up to 20 minutes.

This has a few recommendations on Reddit
Haven't used it but seems simple if you follow the instructions

Get a youtube downloader, mine has file conversion software and convert to mp3. Done loads of live concert videos this way. File size wont matter.

Many thanks, SJ.  I used a free website called clip converters, very user-friendly and it worked perfectly.
