For what it's worth, looks like a re-design going on at the purple places .co.uk site???

Why do they have a .co.uk and a .com site?

Why does it exist at all as although it's owned by laddies it never makes any real attempt to compete with BF?

waiting in the wings for BF to call it a day - but this site will eventually become dormant as  purple is now...until one of them wants to give it a go -then the other will try. Then they will cancel each other out again.

neither firm will take a great interest while the bookies side of their  business is thriving .

exchanges died the moment it was realised that the top end will always take disproportionatly from the bottom end - (something bookies do at will )  no potential  exchange enterprise will even bother now .

But why did laddies buy it and then let it rot? Or is there a long term plan? BF is there to be shot at so perhaps the redesign is the first move of the master plan.

I think its to do with taxation. Ladcrooks can base their hq in Ireland and pay much less tax. The bookies realise they can't compete with exchanges so buy them out. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. No exchange and less tax.

I tried to get a bet matched at bet daq on the rugby world cup outright. Took me a whole week. They killed it by putting commission up from 3% to 5%.

So could BF go the same way?

In my opinion yes, but not to such an extent as bet daq. The main match markets are still thriving on betfair. It's just all secondary markets which have dried up.
