his academic records have been sealed for good reason, he had an incompetent and failed academic career, his main achievement was the colour of his skin (though he had the white priviledge advantage of a white academic parent and the best prep school in the state and racial privilege and priority through every step of his career), rev martin luther king is rolling in his grave (which is where the democratic party put him)

he never worked as a full time lawyer, and even as an academic lawyer never published any legal scholarship. he was to law as chelsea clinton was to hedge funds. his entire legal career was under the umbrella of academia, his main qualification was the colour of his skin.

his time in the legal system in chicago lead to zero improvements for african americans, his time as president has clearly worsened the situation for african americans in both chicago and nationally.

Most families of enormous wealth have a dark and sometimes scandalous, even monstrous past. Donald Trump's clan is no exception to that rule. His grandfather was a pimp and a tax evader, his father a racist who would in the course of his life, clash with New York City Police as a member of the Ku Klux Klan and then as a wealthy real estate magnate, refuse to rent to people of color.

Donald Trump's legacy is anything but a rags to riches story. His dad kicked the bucket with $250-$300 million in the bank. The man who wants to ban all people of a particular religion from travel, wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth, his was white gold. The only thing more obnoxious than Donald Trump himself, is his family's money grubbing, bigoted history.

“I’m doing this because I don’t like bullies,” Dena Moore says, explaining why she— as one of the American Disney workers who was laid off and forced to train her low-wage H-1B foreign replacement— is now launching a discrimination lawsuit against the corporation.

“You can’t let a bully continue to be the bully. Someone had to say: ‘Slavery isn’t right, I think I’ll stand up against it.’ Someone had to say: ‘We shouldn’t [mistreat] our women. I think I’ll stand up.’ Someone had to stand up. That’s what I’m hoping that my work is doing. There’s a lot of people who are just afraid,” Moore tells Breitbart in an exclusive telephone interview.

Yet this sentiment also explains why Moore, a constituent of Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)79%
’s, now says she’s casting her ballot for GOP frontrunner Donald Trump: “Trump is standing up to the bullies.”

“The American people are now the weak ones being bullied,” Moore explains. “The everyday working person needs a champion– and you’d never think to say that. Who would ever think a day would come when we would have to say that? But the middle class needs a champion– we need a union that will protect us– and Donald Trump is that champion. He is champion who stands up to the bullies to protect the weak, he stands up for us– he stands up.”

“When you stand up to the bullies you have to stay strong,” Moore explained. “You’re not always going to be well-liked, and it takes you a little while to be heard. Maybe you’ll make mistakes, but you have to get past the media’s ‘let me pick you apart’ stage and recognize that this person is standing up to the bullies.”

“I will be voting for Trump,” Moore said emphatically. “If we don’t want to become the next third world country— to me— we need somebody whose a business man to run the country.”

“I never realized the laws behind it,” Moore says of the nation’s rampant visa policies that allowed her and her colleagues to be replaced by foreign workers. “I didn’t know what I didn’t know. And Trump has brought this to the forefront. This is probably happening in more than 50 percent of workplaces. As Americans, we’re becoming the minority, we’re becoming the underpaid workers, who have to now go find a different position.”

Moore, at 53 is a mother of four and grandmother of 13. She had been working for Disney just shy of ten years, when out of the blue she was called into a meeting and informed that she along with hundreds of her American colleagues were being let go and would be replaced with foreign workers, whom they would have to train. These foreign workers had been brought into the country on the controversial wage-depressing H-1B visa.

In the course of the interview, Moore discussed the toll this news took on her “extended family”—her colleagues at Disney—who could not recover from the stress of the blow.

“People often tell me, ‘You don’t seem devastated enough.’ I am, but I don’t live my life that way,” Moore says. “I am Miss Sunshine. I’m the energetic positive force.” Being devastated, Moore explains, “is just not in my nature. I bounce. But a lot of other people have not,” she says trailing off.

“Most people were devastated because they had worked at Disney for 30, 40 years. I fared better because I’ve been a contractor my whole life. Disney was my first real job as an employee. But I had a friend who passed away after the situation. And I had another friend who was hospitalized with a heart condition. I truly believe it was from the stressful situation that we were all in.”

“It was a family– the people I worked with– it was an extended family. And it got torn part. And not only for the people who left. People were devastated– you took a well-running machine and you just busted it up.”

“We were afraid to come forward… we didn’t want them to hoard anything against us,” Moore said of why so many of ex-Disney employees remained silent.

Moore’s Senator, Marco Rubio, has pushed to expand H-1B visas despite the fact that scores of his own constituents had just been displaced by the program.

In 2015 Rubio introduced a bill to triple the number of H-1B visas. This bill—known as the I-Squared bill— was endorsed by Disney CEO Bob Iger via his immigration lobbying firm. Disney is also one of Sen. Rubio’s biggest financial boosters– having donated more than $2 million according to Open Secrets.

While Rubio has pushed legislation that would help companies like Disney to bring in more even more H-1B foreign replacement, Trump has called on Disney to hire back all of its American employees. In October, Trump declared, “I am calling TODAY on Disney to hire back every one of the workers they replaced, and I am calling on Rubio to immediately rescind his sponsorship of the I-Squared bill and apologize to every Floridian for endorsing it. I am further calling on Rubio to return the money he has received from Silicon Valley CEOs and to donate the money to a charity helping unemployed Americans whose jobs Rubio has helped to destroy.”

While Trump has made clear that he will champion the interests of American workers, “Marco Rubio has never reached out to us,” Moore explained. “I do believe that politicians will always side with who pays them directly or indirectly,” Moore said of Rubio’s financial ties to Disney. “I also believe they will say and do whatever it takes because they’re not being held accountable. There’s always an out for them— because that is what the American people have said politicians can do.”

Like Marco Rubio, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97%
similarly came under fire for pushing to quintuple the issuances of H-1Bs in 2013 before Cruz eventually introduced a bill to crackdown on the program several months ago.

Moore had a clear message to the voters of South Carolina: “I am just a little grand-mom, but I’m also someone’s mom and someone’s child and I am a grand-daughter and a great-granddaughter. I have generations in my line. If this can impact me, it can impact anyone and everyone– and by one of the most trust companies. Who doesn’t trust Disney?”
“Any one who is a grand-mother or a mother can see the devastation that is around the corner if we don’t start looking at these issues from the standpoint of what benefits Americans.”

During the exclusive interview, Moore recalled the events that led her to eventually call Sara Blackwell and begin her involvement in the lawsuit.

Moore said that when Disney originally gathered the American employees together:

“We thought we were having a party. We did fantastic work. We were excited. We thought it was going to be a party, but then when we went down the hallways. We realized it wasn’t a party but a meeting, suddenly we all knew that something good was not about to happen. It was that quick–suddenly there was an ominous atmosphere…

Nobody they brought in was better than anybody they let go. Every one they brought in were– as we would describe– completely green, they were like interns, fresh out of nowhere…

[When they originally let me go], I was offered a position– it was a contract position for six months– I had a start date, I was entered in to the HR system, etc. but two days before I was supposed to come in to start, HR called and said, ‘You can’t come in because executives are reviewing your position.’

Four weeks later after not hearing from them I called Sara [Blackwell, the attorney for American workers’ in the lawsuit against Disney].”

Moore, who exudes optimism, explains that she loved working at Disney because of the benefits she could give to her grandchildren: “That was why I worked at Disney. That was my driving force. I have lots of little princes and princesses! Part of the benefits of working for Disney was that I could bring people in [to the park] for free every day. If I had lasted at Disney for two more years— that would have been a lifetime benefit I would have had for my family.”

“I always tell people money didn’t motivate what I did,” Moore says in a tongue-and-cheek tone. Rather, Moore explains that her motivation came from the joy of being able to give her “little princes and princesses” a fun day at the amusement park: “Do you know how expensive it is to get into Disney?” Moore laughs. “See!” she says, “There’s humor in everything.”

Moore said that she is grateful for Trump’s firm position on immigration: “I’m not prejudiced. I have lots of diversity in my friend group, but I don’t think you can come into my country, take my resources and not only be granted to stay here– but tohave the red carpet rolled out for you by my politicians… What’s bad is that because we have become this politically correct nation, if you say anything you sound like you’re prejudiced. To me, Trump has done a really good job because it is so very easy to pull that ‘you’re prejudiced’ card, and that is not what this is about. It has to do with our economic resources and whether Americans get to benefit from them.”

“I usually just vote Republican because I’m a Republican,” Moore said. “I don’t usually pay attention to politicians because they say whatever they need to say. I usually don’t hold many politicians to what they say because they just say what people want to hear, but with a business person—they don’t play that political game. It makes you listen. They’re used to being held accountable– they’re used to having to prove themselves and perform.”

Go Trump !

And Chris Christie Surprised

The Republican race is amazing . Never in US politics have Republicans spoken about Democrats the way they are speaking about each other.

Actually like kids in a playground Grin

"This guy has a fresh mouth," Trump said of Rubio on Saturday. "He's a very nasty guy."
Trump also touted his endorsement from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and referred to a previous debate in which Christie, a former candidate, went after Rubio for repeating canned lines:

I saw a meltdown of a human being like I've never seen. It was Rubio. ... [Christie] started and he looked at Rubio and they went back and forth and all of a sudden. ... I watched Chris go after this lightweight ... and he's over here, and I see him starting to sweat like I have never seen anything like it.

"Thank God he has really large ears, the biggest ears I've ever seen," Trump added, "because they were protecting him."

He also said of Rubio: "I have never seen any human being sweat like this guy."

Trump continued to rail against Rubio at length in his speech. Trump, who vowed Friday to "open up" libel laws to make it easier for public figures to sue the media for besmirching their records, expanded the idea to politicians like Rubio.

"I listen to this light, little nothing say, 'Trump's a con man,'" he said of Rubio. "Isn't it a disgrace? I mean, seriously. It really is — maybe we'll make the libel laws also so we can sue lying politicians. "

Trump also predicted he would easily defeat Rubio in his home state of Florida because everyone supposedly hates him there.

"Rubio's won nothing. He couldn't get elected dogcatcher in the state of Florida. They hate him in the state of Florida. ... They hate him in Florida," he said.

As he has done previously, Trump also taunted Rubio for putting on "makeup" at their debate earlier in the week, and for sweating to an extreme amount at a debate earlier in the month.

"I have never seen a human being sweat like he sweats," Trump said.

Trump's insults follow Rubio mocking him at a Friday rally, where he took out his phone and proceeded to read Trump's Friday-morning tweets in which he attacked Rubio.

"I have them right here. Let's read some!" Rubio said with glee. "We'll have fun."

Rubio read the first Trump tweet, which accused Rubio of being a "choker" but misspelled the term.
"And once a chocker, always a choker," Rubio said, feigning confusion. "I guess that's what he meant to say. He spelled 'choker,' 'c-h-o-c-k-e-r.' Chocker."

Rubio then referred to Trump's dubbing of Rubio as "Mr. Meltdown." He said that during the commercial breaks it was actually Trump who was melting down amid Rubio's attacks.
"First, he had this little makeup thing, applying makeup around his mustache, because he had one of those sweat mustaches," Rubio said.

Rubio also went after Trump at campaign stops on Saturday, wondering why "a guy with the worst spray tan in America" was attacking him for putting on makeup at debates.
The senator continued mocking Trump's appearance.

"Trump likes to sue people," Rubio said. "He should sue whoever did that to his face."

Florida-Ohio tonight
Report tobermory • March 16, 2016 1:30 AM GMT
yep

Florida called for Trump

Ohio for Kasich.

If Kasich wins this election i will be sicker than i have ever been in betting Cry

Started backing him @960 , all the way down to still over 500 . Was over 10 grand green on him .Started laying about 300 , just to get my stake back .Then i i planned to wait til he dropped to double figures and reduce green to 5K when he got to down to 50 . All this went to plan . Next i was gonna lay little bits down to sub 20 and still be thousands green on him and in a great position on the others . But then , just when i thought he'd get more momentum , he seemed to fall away  , drifted out to the 100-150 range and i layed more as i could no longer see him having a chance to get into this . When he suddenly came back to sub 50 i couldn't see why he should be so low so basically went red on him.
Report tobermory • March 16, 2016 1:33 AM GMT
tbh i'm not really seeing his winning Ohio ( his own state ffs ) as a game changer .

What i like about it is - according to the boffin types who have analyzed all the delegate maths - it makes it odds against Trump getting a majority of delegates at the convention.

So hopefully a brokered convention with lots of twists and turns and crazy price swings.
Report tobermory • March 16, 2016 1:40 AM GMT
I dumped Rubio a while back , amazing to recall him being 3.6 with Trump 15 after Iowa.

I also went max red on Bernie after studying the Democrat delegate situation which meant he was basically losing even when he was winning as 2 or 3 small victories are cancelled out by just 1 big Hilary win elsewhere due to the allocating delegates proportionately . Annoyingly i layed him biog at about 30 and then he inexplicably dropped to about 13.5 Sad

I still have a big red on Hilary but i cannot see here price staying so low . I have green Trump , bigger on Cruz  , but my main hope is Ryan and Romney dropping low . I backed both @1000

Gary Johnson  -who is of The Libertarian Party - is actually 860 to back right now.

This is right as the Primary voting closes in New York

This should indicate whether or not there will be a contested convention for the Republicans.

Trump is just above 50% in the polls there .If he gets 50% across all the voting districts he will sweep all 95 delagtes for NY and has a good chance still of getting the majority of delegates on the first ballot in July and securing the nomination.

If he is below 50% - and he often does worse than the polls - he will lose some amount of delegates and probably fall short of a majority at the convention meaning a 2nd (and quite likely 3rd, 4th etc) ballot at the convention where his delegate count would drop each time til the point where Ted Cruz has a majority and becomes the nominee or else they just offer it to Ryan (who insists he won't take it ) or  God knows who else.
Report tobermory • April 20, 2016 1:57 AM BST
So if Trump above 50% tonight he is likely to drop to 5.0 or so with Hilary coming in to maybe 1.35

If Trump falls short could be out to double figures with big falls in the odds of Cruz and several other Republicans who aren't even running.

Hilary should pretty much end Bernie right here as has a big lead.

1.22 Hilary Clinton
5.4 Donald Trump

I closed my bets in June after doing over 1000 of them in 9 months

Finished +£329.76 on the winner

Strange as i was against Hilary from the start and was just laying her all the way down and eventually backed her at the lowest odds she was til recently

Also i didn't think Trump had much chance but starting backing him after he drifted badly when losing Iowa.

I made a profit mainly thanks to backing Kasich,Ryan and Romney @900-1000 and then they all traded much lower , especially Ryan who i backed @1000 and didn't lay til 38

Hilary"s best chance may be if Trump doesnt get nominated but runs anyway as an independent.

Isn't that just what he has, effectively, gone and done, though.

Onlooker , I was thinking Rubio would get the nomination and Trump would run anyway in a 3 horse race.

He certainly ran as himself with no real help from his supposed party

Ye have to say he's won this basically on his own with all of the media against him (including some at Fox) his own party disowned him and not only has he become POTUS he's got them the house as well..

Astonishing performance..

Paul Ryan must be seething.Sat this one out, figured he'd easily beat Hilary in 2020....

Though I wouldn't be surprised if the Republicans challenged Trump for the nomination next time.

All that campaigning in Michigan and Wisconsin when people thought he was in the wrong states, got to say fair play to him.

would be unprecedented wouldn't it challenging a sitting president ? they usually get the nomination on the nod

Quite a few precedents. Truman in 1952 and LBJ in 1968 didn't run because challengers did better than expected in early primaries. Pat Buchanan challenged Bush Snr in 1992.
