read some place in London called the cereal bar been attacked for being to ponsy I think for the east end, charges £2.50 - £5 for a bowl of cereal, what halfwits would pay that? I just don't get it.

If you add 12.5% service charge(Shocked) and drinks it's not cheap, however as you've had to pay upfront when booking they've got you over a barrel.

it's £255 before drink and service, which is about £100 more than anywhere else of the same sort of quality.

noma is about £170, waterside inn is £160, the ledbury is £115.

it's an absolutely criminal price from blumenthal who obviously thinks his celebrity and his rotary f*cking evaporator somehow justifies the price.

Not been myself,although the wife has.Went to the Waterside Inn (just round the corner)last month for Saturday lunch.3* Michelin restaurant,got out for under £200 for the pair of us.Much better value.
