We want to share an important update with our Betfair Community users.

Over the coming months, the Betfair Community platform will be winding down. The final active day for the platform will be December 21st. From December 22nd, users will no longer be able to access the platform.

Your discussions, insights, engagement, and, most importantly, feedback have helped shape the platform and guided innovation. Your feedback continues to be important to us, and we will continue to listen via our dedicated feedback channels, as well as through product testing and innovations.

What's it say? I can't open links.

My parents used to have quite a lot, my old man says he was getting cheques every month for £25/£50, sometimes up to four little wins each month. I brought a £1000 worth early in the year and haven't had a sniff.

Says if you have £50,000 in premium bonds, then basically:

1) 1.2 per cent a year

2) for higher rate tax payers, is like getting 2 per cent

3) liquid (as can get money out in a couple of days).

I had to include these when taking my financial planning certificate. Was around 3-4% back then - You can expect a monthly cheque for a maximum outlay
