Morning Kenny
Hope you don't mind me posting you but I have a cat related q that is really puzzling my wife and IBlush
We have 3 cats,2 of them are hunters and I am often clearing up dead voles,mice,birds etc..........
They will often leave them at the door seemingly as presents?
1 of them quite often eats what she gets.............anyway
This morning I found a little vole but it had been covered (or a very good attempt) with long grass.
The grass has not come from my garden as it is all short and this grass seems to be from fields next to the house its a foot long pulled to the root,mud on the roots.
Have the cats tried to hide it?as I keep shifting them or are they burying it?
I just want to try understand what they are thinking/doing.
Thanks.

Not Kennymann but:

1) hiding the vole -- sounds more like foxes than cats;

2) presents -- there is a theory the cat is trying to teach you to hunt, as you are obviously pretty bad at it judging by how long they have to wait for you to find the tin opener each morning.
