The butchering of 'World In Union' on the ITV lead in and lead out of the advert breaks. Horrid voice, utterly sh1t cover, change for change's sake. Who the hell listened to that and decided it would be a good thing to splice it all through the coverage for the next 5 weeks or so?

Someone listen to it and genuinely tell me it isn't awful.

Are you playing your television through a good HiFi system? Something that is capable of fairly accurate reproduction of the original signal? Something that is able to present the nuances and intricacies of the human voice?

That's probably your mistake, then! LaughLaughLaughSadSad

It seems I am far from alone in this opinion:

Hadn't realised at the time it was Paloma Faith. Actually quite like her normally so amazed she has come up with this dirge.

Anyone else irritated by it yet?

Your not wrong. It goes right through me and given the chance, I'd go right through her.

Roger that. I'd be right behind you. If you would be amenable to that sort of arrangement, of course.

Great stuff. Maureen Crothers from Lisburn is correct - it is like having your ears grated by a cheese grater.

Lovely to know I'm far from alone.

Bravo Roger, you were well ahead of the cybersphere on this.

It's now pretty much recognised at Government level that Britain's national interests would be best served by having this horrendous racket 'disappeared'.
