Maggots can breathe through their bottoms, which is probably quite convenient when consuming quantities of Fray Bentos pie
I know this is seriously reactionary, but I bet I am not the only one who looked at the children's names, and thought...... Perhaps? Baxters still waiting for the return of the errant pie .

At least the electricians pie had some protein in it
I thought (along with plumbers) electricians were the "Prima Donnas" of the construction industry!
They certainly know how to live....A Fray Bentos Pie between five of them!

Hard to comprehend this though! Despite the ability to, allegedly breathe through their bums, they couldn't breathe non existent air!
That plus the fact that the pie would be several weeks old by the time it was in the hands of this super-chef, kind of rubbishes the whole story.

I put most current health problems down to the decline in eating offal. All power to Fray Bentos steak and kidney pies - there's always some shop somewhere you can find civilization and nutrition at a quid/tin ... Poundstretchers, Lidl etc.
As Len Deighton put it in his Action Cook Book: if you don't like liver, learn to like it - you need it.
Potatoes, apples and onions fried in butter, with duck livers pre-soaked in milk and seasoned with ground pepper added to the pan at the end for 2 or 3 minutes/side - Himmel und Erde (heaven and earth) the Germans call it.

My Favourite Travel and Food show has to be any thing hosted by Anthony Bourdain. He has probably eaten at most of the best diners anywhere on the planet which elevates his favourite restaurant Fergal Henderson's ST JOHN in Smithfield to empyrean heights. Fergal's whole Menu is bases around Offal.
