With Corbyn a long-standing host on Press TV, the Iranian state TV channel, they presumably see him as a rival presenter.
Perhaps they could consider poaching him. Would Murdoch be able to outbid the £5,000/programme he receives from the government of Iran?

Why does no one point out that most politicians at various times in history have talked to terrorists.
Wasn'nt John Major and later Blair amongst the many congratulated about their dialogue with the IRA!!
But not many castigate them for doing so. BUT the EVIL CORBYN is practically signed up to the IRA and Putin's commie/capitalst organisation.
Shirley this well be topped off with a illegitimate baby story just to finish him off hahahahaha

If you want to talk about money - check out where the 8 out of 10 who left the shadow cabinet get their money from.
Ever heard where ummuna, cooper etc do? Pricewaterhousecoopers - the tax avoidance company amongst other things Sponsoring LABOUR??? Says it all really.

I don't recall either Major or Blair appearing in propaganda broadcasts on behalf of the IRA, nor Pricewaterhousecooper administering a thousand lashes to journalists who criticize them.
Here's the breath of fresh air which Corbyn admires and supported tirelessly with Parliamentary questions for years:
The Iranian legislation does not accord the same rights to women as to men in all areas of the law.[57]
In the section of the penal code devoted to blood money, or Diyya, the value of woman's life is half that of a man ("for instance, if a car hit both on the street, the cash compensation due to the woman's family was half that due the man's")[58] The testimony of a male witness is equivalent to that of two female witnesses.[57][59][60] A woman needs her husband's permission to work outside the home or leave the country.[57]
According to Zahra Eshraghi, granddaughter of Ayatollah Khomeini,
"Discrimination here [in Iran] is not just in the constitution. As a woman, if I want to get a passport to leave the country, have surgery, even to breathe almost, I must have permission from my husband."[63]

I agree. Such a breath of fresh air. Honest and principled. A true socialist of the 'old school' he has a growing number of supporters. Changes will happen. As for PM - never say never

Diana Johnson, Labour MP for Hull North, expressed her dismay on Twitter that the senior shadow Cabinet jobs had all gone to men. “It is so very disappointing – old-fashioned, male-dominated Labour politics in the top positions in shadow Cabinet,” she said, adding the hashtag “#notforgirls”.
The first UK cabinet to win the approval of the Islamic Republic?
Breath of fresh air my arse

Corbyn can give up any pretext to being a friend of the media. It plays to his 'outsider' status to be actively hostile, because even when his policies are put under closest scrutiny, he can go 'nasty media - it's all your fault' and still appear cool and in control, despite being vilified non-stop by said media.
I think this not speaking to Sky is a brilliant move as, eventually, people might begin asking questions about how the media they consume is concentrated to such a huge degree in the hands of one man.

Good point Roger. If Corbyn is astute he can make a virtue of necessity regarding Murdoch. People drawn to his message will likely lap it up and lets be honest there's very little chance of him ever getting a fair shake from Murdoch.

I thought that with the phone hacking, but nothing changed. In fact I even, naively, thought people might change after Diana died and the paparazzi were hated for a week, but people forgot. Was a shame that Blair got in bed with Murdoch cos he really didnt have to, they were nailed on to get in in 1997 regardless.

A strange statement considering that you, by your own admission, were thinking of voting Labour in the GE. We knew you were a liar, but thick?
Aye, probably.
