This is going to sound stupid but I always get vinegar on my chips if I go to a chip shop but don't normally have it at home.
I just splashed vinegar all over my home made chips and they are so much better.

It's so obvious now but Vinegar gives that chip shop taste, use it, it has the Real JC (TM) seal of approval.

They go REALLY well with that Pizza I just took off a guy at the door, that I didn't even order Devil.

I do like vinegar but I don't eat chips. I make the rather most splendid poached eggs and a good splash of malt vinegar is absolutely essential.

I've bought it before but it was the clear type, this is the brown malt stuff.
I'm guessing the clear isn't nearly so tasty.

Jack I'm going to try it on everythingLaugh

Vinegar is good for cleaning glass.

As long as you don't mind it stinking like a chip shop.

Vinegar is used for clearing the pipes on aircraft that go from the toilet to the holding tank.
If you want a clean system use vinegar.

Clearing mould.

Get one spray bottle each of white vinegar (acetic acid - acidic) and soda crystals (sodium carbonate - alkaline) for a quid each from Wilkinson's, and use an old toothbrush. Between them they kill all moulds. A spray from the soda crystal bottle afterwards and left to dry will help make it difficult for mould to regrow, as the dried crystals have a jagged edge.

Never use bleach or mould-prevention solutions, which are the same thing - they simply remove the surface mould, but leave behind water, which encourages further growth of mould.

I was going to suggest the Vinegar Book as already mentioned but everything is on the net anyway.

Don't waste money on useless "Mr Muscle products when the correct type of vinegar will blitz the job,

White vinegar on glass, mirrors, and spectacles gets everything optically, squeak clean and the smell soon goes.

White vinegar and soda crystals has so many uses, including unblocking sinks and cleaning a toilet bowl (need to remove the water first)!

Worth investing in a siphon gadget for two or three quid, to do this.

For anyone with dandruff or an itchy scalp, mix approx. 1/2 cup of cider vinegar with 1/2 cup of warm water, then massage onto scalp leave for about an hour and rinse off,do it about once a week until clear, alternatively you can also add a bit of lemon juice to the mix.

It is much more effective and cheaper than the recommended hair products.

Dissolving Epsom salts in the water you use for rinsing the hair works well too.

Not sure whether it's the magnesium or the sulphur which does the business, but worked like magic the one time I had an itchy scalp.

Got a small piece of extra mature Cheddar in the fridge.  Been there about 6 months now.

Would vinegar shift the mould on that?

After a week of vinegar bliss malt wasn't enough. I'm hooked. I needed something strong.

So today I've bought some red wine vinegar, I'll try it later when the vinegar shakes start Blush.

Vinegar is God's own condiment.

Wonderful stuff - whether for ingesting or cleaning.

Wait till you get on the Balsamic!
