ditching windows 10 for apple iPad pro

I watched the keynote today (I hate those bloody yank things....they are second only to speeches in congress where they all stand up at the end of every sentence and applaud......the keynote is just full of yank drones with crocodile clips attaching their privates to the mains, forcing them to whoop whoop at very mediocre stuff)

The watch is just 5hit let's face it
They made a stylus but called it a pencil ffs after saying making a stylus was a defeat.
The iPad pro is just the surface pro but no doubt worse value.
They have bowed to Microsoft over office on the iPad out of accepting their software is worse
They think writing 'wow' and highlighting words in a document is something to get excited about.
You still can't rest your hand on the glass when using the stylus....which is very uncomfortable.
The Apple TV is just a streaming box-yawn.
There's a new iPhone....go figure, that will just mean they pull the ladder up from one of the older models so ppl will get cut adrift and brainwashed into buying again.

No innovation here, loathsome company IMO.

Apples are great, but there is definitely an element of style over substance and fashion over value about them.  No matter what model, there always seems to be a PC available that is better and cheaper.

Absolute zero innovations again from Apple and people still fall for the hype.

+1 to dustybin, also watched the keynote and nearly feel asleep, the watch and pencil were particulary cringeworthyas as was the clapping and **** sucking fromt he audience

Yes and no. There are cheap PCs but not cheap Apples. Looked at another way, there are low quality and high quality PCs but there are only high quality Apples. At the top end, PCs are just as expensive. Macs also are easier to use than Windows: less flexible but more consistent.

What price we looking at here chappies?

Never tried them myself but there are tablets available for well under £!00.

Had a look online, Jack and all i can see is start at $799..

So, I was probably right!

Amazing that despite the exchange rate, everything seems to be conveyed $ for £ to the same amount.

Think they call it rip off britain.

Safari better than windows explorer

Apple gear is great....got the IMac desktop, Ipad Air and Iphone 6 Plus.....you pay a bit more but it is higher quality.

I find the reverse of thinking apple make things easier, or that they are value.
Functional things can be fashionable, but fashion doesnt rule function. If you are a subscriber to this ethos then you are likely a subscriber to bilge tv dished up by fashionistas and deciders of your future.
I have a number of apple products as well as PC ones and can honestly say that even now after years of both I always seem to see apple as 'for the sake of difference'
There isnt a thumb selection of screens on the mac for all I can determine which has an active effect on screen real state.

Apple are nothing less than a megalomaniac entity nutsdeep in corporate enterprise land that supplies want behind corporate greed.
Look at their first ever advert.

Apple an their apologists like to make out the creatives live on apple products.
The truth is graphic artists and colouring types do but serious CAD work and engineering is done on PCs
