On agricultural land, ideally intensely grazed agricultural land.
We've got too many sheep ( when did you last order mutton or buy wool ), and an over supply of milk. |

The solution to this problem is to give up facebook

The woman's stance could be born of common sense. Have you checked the details of her objection? Maybe you are just one more self-proclaimed 'rightie' who is far to quick to resort to name-calling and abuse. Perhaps you are not. Maybe you're making a mistake. Maybe you're right...that would be lucky.

Leftie? Why?
Do people who agree/disagree with a certain topic have to be of the 'left' or 'right'? Can they not have unattached opinions of their own? And, the bigger lack of thought and idea is shown by the taking notice - or even using, imo - of Facebook. |

I know she's a lefty because during the General Election she was constantly moaning about David Cameron being back in power.
She's also one of them that says 'Horse Racing is wrong' and has brightly dyed colour hair (which I can't stand) People seem to forget that the UK is just a small little island... |

Hampstead Heath would be my choice. why? One of London's gems imo, like the countryside in London. |

think thats what you call new labour (or tory sc um mark 2) ...not a real leftie.
once there is a risk of their livelyhoods being put out of joint or their house prices could fall they switch from labour to aright wing stance....never as bad as a rightie though. righties wouldnt give a sh1t about their own countrymen let alone genuine refugees. |

You didn't have to be a "leftie" to dislike Hitler. She's also one of them that says 'Horse Racing is wrong' and has brightly dyed colour hair (which I can't stand) I must look out for "brightly dyed colour hair" since it's obviously a means of telling political affiliation. People seem to forget that the UK is just a small little island... It definitely is (more correctly a collection of islands), so why is our government intent on masquerading as a world power and trying to convince us of the necessity to spend £100bn on Trident renewal? |

Did James Connolly know that? |

Sounds like a confused NIMBY rather than a leftie.
Got them all over the show round my way. Object to HS2 (hiding behind the fig leaf of it being uneconomic rather than just admit they don't want their back gardens being bulldozered) but vote Conservative (whose central planks of their manifesto is to build HS2) at every election going. |

Lefties are not noted for logical thinking...cant be bothered going over them all, heres a start for Alias....Britain is a small island, in size. However it was the same size, and less population when it ruled most of the world
You will find it has nuclear weapons because it has produced great scientists. Rutherford the first man to split the atom. Thats a start, I have tried to type slowly so you understand. |
|
By:
lfc1971, you neglected to mention that Britain (at least it's ruling classes) raped a fair proportion of the world while "ruling" it. It's largely because of so called foreign policy and "British interests" that the situation in the ME is what it is. Britain has nuclear weapons because the ruling elite can't realise that they are no longer "ruling most of the world", as if that was ever anything to be proud of, and as if it ever benefited any but the richest 5% of the population anyway. As for typing slowly, I suspect that's the only way you know how.

Another one, like the neighbours described in your other post, who thinks he's a clever tory without realising that he's a traitor to himself. All of his education has been gleaned from Biggles and the Sun. |

By:
logical thinking .....to a tory is only thinking about ones self.
thats about as logical as it can get for them. |
|

Ok Alias lets try again. Asbff was relating the physical size of Britain to population density..you then equated the size of Britain to its role in the world a false analyasis of the origonal meaning...is that simple enough for you..or do you wish to mention Britains poor weather as well?
|
|
By:
" Britain raped a fair proportion of the world "
This is the view of Alias. This is what is taught in your schools Ye then wonder why lots of " straight A " students turn up fighting for ISIS. The fact is Britain brought civilisation and prosperity, brought order, brought democracy everywhere it went. Look at the infrastructure Britain put into their colonies. Everything is of its time and some of the excesses were wrong but on balance they did far more good. |
|
By:
NO OTHER COUNTRY HAS EVER RAPED PARTS OF THE WORLDS OR ENSLAVED THEM
ONLY COLONIAL BRITAIN hope this helps I fkn give up with these liberal theorists spewing out their lies. |

Wildie. I rather think that much of the 'improvements' that we brought were simply to enable the snaffling of the goods and getting it to a port and onto a ship asap.
We weren't alone, of course, the Dutch and Spanish weren't too shy. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

By:
.....aand of course, since they kicked out the colonial exploiters, they've all done so well for themselves, haven't they?
