A significant part of me likes the fact that Corbyn is a red meat socialist. I may not agree with him but his clarity is refreshing.

It is opening up sores within the party that isn't healthy. The holier than thou wing will drive out anyone who isn't pure left and the tories will rule for another decade.

The days of the Labour right have gone. Anyone who doesn't lean markedly to the left should leave the Party anyway..

far far better to have politicians who say what they believe in and take a position - irrespective of right or wrong. For this reason alone corbyn is admirable.

then let them - if they're so bad the country will get worse and worse, and at some point the people will say enough.

I always thought politics was about your vision for the country which you then tried to get people to vote for. The Labour approach for the last twenty years has been to pursue policies which they believe can get them elected , with all conviction seemingly set aside. That has created a situation where there is little difference between them and the Conservatives which has led to them being all but wiped out in Scotland and losing votes in their traditional heartlands in the north of England.Hardly surprisingly middle England prefers the Conservatives in the same way that you would prefer to own a dog rather than a cat that barks. I do not believe there is a viable prospect of Labour governing the country again which I think makes Corbyn and a return to core values the proposition which most appeals to party members. I don't see Corbyn as a future Prime Minister but that comment can be made with similar conviction about the other three.
