Have had lots of bird feeders in past but now we are plagued by jackdaws - they're so cunning.

They fly at the seed thing and spill seeds on floor and then eat them.  Tried "no Jackdaws" notice but they ignore it.

Only thing that seems to work is the peanut feeder as they can't perch on it.

Been on Amazon but would like wise forumites' advice please, as I know I can trust it.

TIA

It's "Luftwaffe Central" where I live too as far as these vermin are concerned, mememe.

Anything out in the open gets taken out.  Lucky I live out in the wilds, so my air rifle is put to good use ... regularly Angry

I hang feeders, fat balls etc. outside my kitchen / living room windows, up at the top.  Not only are they protected from unwanted visitors, it also provides me with the most wonderful, close-up views of the wee tweet tweets Love

Daughter has a collection of ones hanging from a tall metal contraption.

Fed up with Starlings and Pigeons gorging on the feed.

I got her these two.....

The small one hangs on the metal contraption, and the big one is on the garage gable.

They are both difficult for large birds to use.
