Why does the party possibly implicated in an enquiry get to choose the judge ?
Surely it should be the oppositions choice, so you don't get a homer.

you aren`t going to believe the reports are you, the anti war fanatics should pipe down and let the man continue , although better not to have had the inquiry.

......first of all lfc there is nothing fanaticall about being anti war......

....and no...I will not beleive the Chilcott report unless it clearly states ......

.....that Blair...at the behest of Bush.....knowingly misled parliament and the electorate under the guise of a threat from weapons of mass destructions.....not a drop of which were found.....because there were none.

.....and second was a patsy in the scheme......iniated by the " new Pear Harbour" event on 9/11 which provided a pretext to reassert American domination and influence in the Middle East and the wider world as outlined in the neocon manifesto "The Project for The New American Century".

If only we could have a new American century, it would be wonderful.

I see that today's monkey 5hit flung at Corbyn is about his comments about the killing of Bin Laden being described as a tragedy and that it would have been better to put him on trial.

What is wrong with this statement?

Are those attacking him honestly saying that trial by gun is the way, and that having less transparency should be the goal?
Rubbish.
I bet a few people would have been extremely uncomfortable about Bin Laden going to trial, and now people attack Corbyn for believing in legal justice?

Can't really complain though can they, after they used similar tactics against Farage before the election.

Power corrupts.  Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Applies perfectly to Blair.

Unfortunately Blair is spot on about the future of the Labour party if they are barmy enough to choose Corbyn.

Blair is free to pick a colour of his choosing, to pick a name of his own, and to start a party in his image.....somewhere nose distance from the Tory rump.
He was Machiavellian and lead the Labour Party on a false dawn through deception.
If labour moves to the left then it will be good for all.
Good for the Tories if they believe corbyn unelectable, good for the original ideology of the Labour Party  and good for giving options within a homogenised backdrop of no real choice.

Always made me laff when they said Milliband was too far to the left (labour/tories rhetoric) and that's why he got snotted. The problem was he wasn't far enough to the left, as is being proven now....

Oh no I am not ! His judgement of politics in UK was spot on winning three elections and the Labour party gave him standing ovations at the conference year after year, there must be thousands of hypocrites in the party now.It will be in opposition for a decade if it doesn't fracture and split.A loathesome man who should appear at the Hague some time soon after the Chilcot enquiry publishes in 2045 ?
