It is sad that the forum is censored in this fashion.
Never read all of the first thread but nowt on the second to justify removing it.

In fairness akabula, they are entitled to remove whatever thread they choose, for whatever reason they choose.

Why though, and at whose behest?

If that philosophy was spread all over wouldn't it end any semblance of debate or free speech.

I'm not saying it's right or not right egner, just that it is their forum so they can do as they choose.

Two or three people disagreeing...can't think of anything slanderous or personal whatsoever on any side on this last thread.

I've just looked at the guidelines for posting and nothing really stands out.

Then it ceases to become a forum in any meaningful sense.......

I have just had a post that contained a link to a guardian article on the schiffers race deleted.....

...there was absolutely nothing......nothing....on any side of the argument on that IDS thread that was personal or defamatory in any way.....not on any side of he argument......

....that being the case it really does have to make you wonder what is going on here ......

No secret that political parties and governments monitor social media. sections from this forum can be found on google, and IDS is a fairly easy thing to look for. And not everybody was praising him to the skies.

Anyways lets say someone did 'report' it surely b/f wouldn't take it down without cause and that's the point there wasn't, or at least didn't appear to be, a breech of posting rules.

Last time I checked into the thread the last posts was akabula talking about the work shy, it was running fine till then


I said IDS was a useless and incompetent politician and that is my opinion and I stand by it....if this thread gets pulled now, then, you will all know it was that comment that was why it was deleted, and if so, I will humbly apologies to the Scottish Tory

I would also think that, given recent decisions, that if a post did break the guidelines then that poster would probably now be banned.

....and IDS thread in its entirety is missing....love him or hate him...a pattern seems to be emerging

BTW II wasn't defending IDS, I find him quite insipid and a bit like Redwood, but merely the right to attack those abusing the benefits system.

I can't remember too many threads being removed in their entirety.

It's unusual nowadays. But they are clearly on the case about the subject.
