UKIP candidate is suspended for posting on Facebook that immigrant 'b*******' should be gassed like badgers
Bobby Douglas thrown out after calling immigrants 'scrounging parasites'
He also said women only need to be 'painted black' to get into the UK
Mr Douglas apologised but said: 'It's not racist, it's just what's happening'
UKIP has suspended him and he will stand as independent in by-election

so you are quite happy with the rotherham situation then

it was allowed to happen because the left wing luvvy duvvy brigade were too nice to the very nice muslim community 'who they knew wouldnt do anything naughty once they had let them into OUR country not fkin THEIR country thinking that THEY think just like us and would take on OUR morals and BELIEFS and WAY OF LIFE because it was far better than the SH1THOLE FESTERING PILE OF SH!T they had lefT behind'

how very FKIN wrong they were and still are and WILL always be ask the 1400 abused YFDC

Report pantsonfire August 27, 2015 2:56 AM BST
No need for all that abuse. dukeofpuke could be Bobby Douglas.

Of course I'm not happy with the Rotherham situation.

Did I post anything to say I'd be voting for any other party?

It truly beggars the mind that people could post something like that on social media in this day and age. How utterly thick would you have to be to hold such an opinion in the first place, still less to broadcast it to the nation?

Leaving that aside bigmo, he will no longer be allowed to stand for UKIP, or represent them in any way. It's not like the UKIP National Executive have just said 'boys will be boys' or some such and allowed him to remain in the party.

UKIP are still the only party who have any plans to restrict immigration, and still the only party who wish to remove the millstone that is the EU from around our necks. If these aims are dear to your heart, then removing your support from the only party that espouses them can not be the way forward imo.
Report DIE LINKE August 27, 2015 10:57 AM BST
UKIP only do well because Farage stands about amongst the wooden career politicians. However, the majority of UKIP candidates do not stand up to scrutiny. Fruitcakes, loonies and closet racists is putting in mildly. Anyone who thinks big business and the establishment will allow the UK to restrict immigration to the levels UKIP want and allow the UK to leave the EU is probably better off running a cake stall. It will not be allowed to happen and I await the u-turns from the Tories, their financial backers and the Tory press with great relish. The British people are going to be squeezed until the pips squeak!
Report DIE LINKE August 27, 2015 11:01 AM BST
btw, the accusation that anyone against UKIP is somehow a supporter of paedophilia is not just limited to internet forum nutters. It was also used by UKIP candidates during the election.

Stranger place Britain he is expected to resign for his comments yet Cameron and Co stand back and do nothing, while another 330000 come here. Yet he keeps his job?
Report Dotchinite August 27, 2015 12:34 PM BST
Labours likely new leader hasnt got a good record on acting against paedophiles in his own constituency. worrying for a potential PM although to be fair theres plenty else to worry about in his case.

'potential' PM - should be in VERY small font. He won't be.
Report jed.davison August 27, 2015 12:58 PM BST
Dotchinite, that incident in Islington never seemed to do much harm to the career of Margaret Hodge, who was director of Children's Services at the time in the borough.
Report Dotchinite August 27, 2015 1:25 PM BST
Indeed facts even a small chance an idiot that wants to adopt zimbabwes monetary policy could be PM should cause any sane person worry.
Report bigmo August 27, 2015 7:47 PM BST
jed.davison the problem I'm having with them and it's been niggling away for a long time is the amount of nutters they seem to allow to get in the party.

Every time there's a headline like that they must lose thousands of potential votes. For all the decent ones in the party most will remember this nutter even though they've got rid of him.
Report jed.davison August 27, 2015 8:03 PM BST
Bigmo, of course they attract nutters, all parties do. For confirmation of this, look at the amount of people who will vote for Jeremy Corbyn to be Labour Leader. While it may be distasteful to read about the off antediluvian fruitcake who represents UKIP, they don't represent a clear and present danger to Great Britain in the same way that Corbyn does.

What you should remember however, is that despite the national press - left and right - attacking them from all sides, relentlessly, in the build-up to the General Election, they still attracted 4m votes. Only the vagaries of the system stopped them from gaining a sizeable Commons presence.

I don't believe this kind of incident costs them anywhere near as many votes as the trampling of the democratic wishes of the Greek people, the continuing rise in net migration figures and the chaos at Calais and the inability, in fact unwillingness, of our Government to do anything about it gains them.

Bigmo,do wakeup and understand that these sensationalist stories are planted by the big 2 parties to marginalise and discredit UKIP in the run up to the EU referendum by which time they hope to have a free run at the Yes vote. I have heard similar views expressed by some in my local workmens club, unpleasant but often spoken more in frustration at our politicians ineptitude to address immigration mubers than a true sentiment.
