Spent two weeks in the Scottish Highlands and believe it or not, was treated to glorious sunshine every day except the final one. Get back to London area and it's rain and gales. Went up north prepared for that but ended up in shorts and t-shirts. Back to brollies and jackets now!

I'm up in Edinburgh and it's been a fantastic couple of days - sunny and bright. Brief showers today but not too bad.
I'm golfing all next week up here so praying it stays reasonable. |

it's been perpetual autumn since january imo
2015 wind rain drizzle some sun breezy very few days over 22c very few days under 12c no warm nights,no snow ,one day where it got to 30c but something scared it  |

while in Edinburgh did you manage to avoid any or all of those 10 funniest jokes from there? About as funny as Athlete's foot. Still, the Scots think highly of Alex Salmond so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. |
