Only ever had 1 place pot up, copied a mixture of Tony Lewis and the other tipsters selections in the Star, back in the 80s. 5 winners and a second.
To this day its my best win loss ratio of any bet. |

Slippy, someone was enquiring about Catford on the HR forum earlier, is it still undeveloped...? We appear to be making hard work of things tonight against the Shrews

4-1 in the end, not a great game but we're through safe enough. I haven't been past the old Catford track for a good few years CL. Boris Johnson said Barrat Homes were building 500 homes on the site a couple of years ago but no idea if that project ever got under way, it's not a part of London I ever go past on my travels. Hope all is well with you Cork Langer.

Fine thanks SB, nice draw at home to Plumstead, I mean Charlton...!
Will settle for a point from our next two games, anything more will be a very welcome bonus, all is well I hope with you and yours. |

I have not done a placepot for about 20 years and I am struggling to get my head around this dividend. The first six races of the meeting had in order 6,6,5,3,4 and 4 runners. A full perm of all the runners would take 8640 bets and leave you with 8 winning lines yet the dividend payed over 10 grand. Am I missing something?
|
|
By:
only thing you're missing is that a full perm to a £1 would have cost you £8640,& if all the favs had obliged then the return would have been about £30 (x8).
