This would almost be like Eddie The Eagle winning the olympics
Don't follow Golf too closely but usually check the scores once or twice a week .Had a look earlier to confirm that Woods had missed the cut again , probably finished last , and found he was the halfway leader
Now after 3 rounds he's no longer leading but only 2 shots back and clear fav on here

He has been getting gradually worse from the age of 19, ever swing change a subtle mistake...the golf swing is a precarious thing.

he needs to go back to Butch Harmon,he got too big for his boots and thought he did'ent need him.
Casemoney is correct Gary Player has offered an invitation to tiger to come visit for one hour,and he will sort him out. |

Butch Haarmon started the deconstruction and destruction of Woods swing....if Tiger had never seen that man he would have won at least 10 majors...in the Masters alone and possibly as many as 25 to 30 in total.
He also would have enjoyed the game more playing with instinctive and natural ability. |

That's odd, seeing as they worked together earlier this year. If you know that and it's true, surely Tiger does ,so why is he entertaining him again?

It is almost impossible to put a golf swing together once taken apart.
Tiger hasn`t the first clue what is wrong and neither does Harmon...he started the process of ruining it. For the greatest players the golf swing is like a gift and it is very elusive...almost impossible to put back together. |

I'll take your word for that, I've only played pitch and putt. Just seems odd that Tiger would tolerate him again if he knackered the autumn of his career.

He didn`t knacker the autumn of his career, he ruined all of it. Not so much the fact that Woods had tremendous success but because from almost the start with Harmon the process began...this meant that Woods never in all his career was happy on the course and playing golf...he always knew that something wasn`t right,always...on every shot and every round of golf.

Just watched a sports round-up report on tv., they got to Golf section and reported that Tiger Woods failed to win the golf tournament at the weekend, then cut to a clip of Tiger explaining where his game is now, then moved on to the next sports item. They didn't even mention who won the f**king tournament.
Feck me Woods is No.257th in the world rankings. ffs Dear sports editors everywhere, He's finished, he's old news, get over it. |
