Not decided yet myself but there is room for one more in the parents plot
except three other brothers are vying for the same place. Get the 3 brothers out on a deep lake in a boat and A stick of dynamite and a timer -- problem solved !! ![]() |

Burning on high beds of logs on the bank of the Ganges River, fires crackling, ashes flying. Family gathered around the burning pyres. When the fire dies, workers throw the ashes into the river.

Body is chopped up and left on the mountain side for the vultures to take care of. Very popular in the Himalayas

Burials seem ridiculous to me and having people buried in the same plot is just wrong. Have a look at a grave yard, broken headstones untended graves . Sooner or later they fall into a right old state when there is no one who cares about the upkeep. Then eventually they end up being dug up or covered by tarmac.
Cremation is the way to go. |

Its the 21st century, are people arrogant enough to think they deserve a piece of land for eternity?
IMO, everyone should be cremated and put in an urn which should be kept on the spouse or kids' sideboard till they are sick of looking at it, and then sprinkled over the garden. |

I like the chopping up for vultures idea. Diseased bodies should be burned and all bones ground up for fertiliser.

Someone I know got into trouble for scattering his relatives remains in a National Park. He said in hindsight he should have had him cremated first.

Discussed this with my wife and I'm donating my body to medical science. I've always been a science geek so it's only fair I gave something back to the community.
