Our oldest cat slipped away away last night. It was not unexpected due to its age. Infact it was probably a good thing as we had talked just last week about what was best for him. He was not in any discomfort. Just very old and we did not know what to do as he still seemed content. But we may have put off helping him go to his last sleep a little bit longer than would have been in his best interests.

Thank you very much Leopard for your lovely gesture and nice words. Our other cat who i had the more difficult job of helping go to his last sleep a few months ago was actually named Top Cat so they will probably both be trying to outwit officer Dibble.
