Its all real,no acting at all ,just like American wrestling.
Haven't seen the UK one, but did see bits of US.....enough to see how ridiculous it is, at least!
On one episode they cracked off the lock, and there was a camera already in there, and with the lights on,
facing out to the assorted low life "bidders".....

How much did the camera and lights go for ? They can bring good money.
Can imagine that at one time there was money to be made doing this sort of thing.

Apparently chumleee is the highest paid on Pawn Stars which is another scripted show. The main stars don't even work in the shop anymore. They only come in to film each episode and the store is closed off to ordinary customers.
