the idea that we might have been seeded by another civilisation and that they are unhappy with the results and want to reset is interesting.
unfortunately not even an impressive ensemble cast, outstanding visuals, and the rather good abortion scene, can save what is an absolutely appalling screenplay sitting on a car crash of ideas. |

speaking of the film itself - i really like the bit at the end where the woman , when robot-head says 'I can get you back to Earth', she says ' i don't want to go to - i'm going to their planet' : she meant to kick alien-butt ; having first heard their excuse for having decided humanity was a failed experiment that needed to be closed down.
