Very slow typing here on Chrome.

I also gave up on "IE" as it was useless on BF.

Been running "Chrome" for several years, but I recently asked on here if there was a BF forum problem, as my typing was delayed by seven or more characters.

It seems to have somehow mended itself now.

Chrome turned to sticky treacle for me the last week.

Finally found a really simple solution: Settings > Advanced Settings, untick hardware acceleration, then click the restart link under it.

Got so frustrated I'd ordered an upgrade to fibre broadband, unnecessarily as it turns out.Sad

I've just downloaded the latest Chrome on a refurbished computer hat has windows 7 on.

Chrome and Windows wont allow me to log into/navigate some of my bookmaker accounts and a lot of pictures on the web are only half loading and just a blur of colour.

I've deleted my cookies and history and set my security to as low as it can go and still no luck.

Any ideas?

I uninstalled it, Mo. Then tried to re-install and it wouldn't let me. Got so fed up trying i downloaded Revo Uninstall to get rid of any previous bits of Chrome. That didn't work either so tried an old faithful by uninstalling axtivex, then it installed (but not from Googles own download) No probs up to now, and that was a week ago..

Have you tried unticking Hardware Acceleration, bigmo?  Made everything as smooth as before for me.

Saw your post  screaming from beneaththewaves and tried it this morning with no luck. I'm trying to avoid uninstalling guinness as I know I'll end up messing it all up.

I use FireFox & "Duck Duck Go" ...it's the fastest and doesn't track you !
